Today, I had the opportunity to participate in a meeting and site visit regarding the extension of the existing Ghana National Petroleum Head Office. This gathering brought together key stakeholders including architects, consultants, quantity surveyors, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and even the client.

The meeting provided invaluable insights into the attention to detail required to ensure client satisfaction, cost efficiency, and effective time management throughout the project. Central to the discussions was the thorough examination of a Risk Register, where potential risks were identified, assessed for their impact on the project, and strategies for mitigation were explored.

This experience made me aware of the collaborative nature of project management, highlighting the importance of engaging diverse perspectives to navigate challenges and devise optimal solutions.

Thank you SKOL Consult Ghana Ltd. for the enlightening day!
